It would be a big blow to the market and even to those companies who constantly complain about high street games stores selling second hand games. Where else are they going to stick all their advertising boards, standees etc now? It was a perfect place to advertise games and many of their customers would be mums and relatives buying in the high street who don't want to go online.

Yeah, just read about the GAME group, not good. They also own Gamestation as well as online retailer Gameplay. Crap news, looks like there's a lot of businesses struggling out there at the moment. The thing is I don't see any signs of things drastically improving anytime soon.

Freezing out there, even more so than yesterday. I really need to find my gloves.
Still, in the office with some white chocolate and raspberry porridge to heat me up. No coffee at the moment though as I'm trying to avoid it due to getting stomach cramps. It's really difficult when I go past someone else with a nice strong cup of coffee and smell the aroma.

Afternoon all! (Hi Emmie! You've returned the same week as me :D...I'm detecting freeola have been on a re-recruitment drive :p)
Quite a busy day here. Spent the morning in my primary care clinic, where a couple of over 60's sat as patients for me. Worked quite quickly but muddled myself with one of them. Slowly getting better... Then had a "professional awareness" assessment (sat in a room with a stranger for 5 minutes, being videotaped to see how we strike up conversation and rapport...not too bad I hear you say, but my entire group gets to watch it in a few weeks time :/). Now just chilling with coursework...
