Alfonse, I was looking at putting my operating system on an SSD a couple of months ago but was told by the guy at my local PC shop that you really need a fresh OS install and did not recommend transferring everything over from a current HD. He said that if I decided to buy one and wanted to try a transfer then he mentioned that this might be worth a try. I don't know if he meant because it was the best program for doing this or because it was free? Anyway, I didn't buy an SSD in the end so can't really help you much more, just passing on what he advised really.

I'll be hopefully seeing the Avengers on Monday as it's easier to arrange with everyone.
Going to see anything other than The Avengers/Avengers Assemble on Friday would be a crime against cinema, in my opinion. However, have fun!

You can technically copy everything across and make it your C drive, but the hard part is to copy everything while you are using the OS, as many of the drivers you want to copy will be in use. It's still possible, though.
Pretty sure there are tools to do this, though. on the internet. Piece of software that will clone a hard drive even if it has the OS that you are using.

My father bought me a late Christmas present in the form of a 120GB Corsair SSD. Does anyone know if I can simply move my operating system from the hard drive to this, or do I need to re-install it?
