Morning.

Hot again. Being scratched by well meaning puppies who don't realise the sharpness of their claws. Looks like war wounds on my chest at the moment.

Their teeth are even worse, like little needles.

Morning.

I read that if you take adjustments in to account Dark Knight Rises wasn't as successful as Burton's 1989 Batman. Interesting.

Isn that in Malaga though? It seem most tourist areas have them.

Just over an hour away and yes, a tourist area. She seems to do a lot of her shopping in Gibraltar aswell ... there was an M&S! or maybe there still is?

The holiday side of Teneriffe is very English orientated anyway, so I'm not surprised. Most of Spain used to have the issue with water but they've done great work on treatment plants since. The idea of the water being unsafe still persists, though mostly it's for foreigners who haven't built up immunity to regional bugs. Many still buy bottled water, though, because it's very cheap and can be put in the fridge.

We also get water from a natural spring up the road in the hills, it's been specially looked after to enable people to get water there. My father-in-law has also put in a water filter to their tap to let us drink more tap water.

Beer is really cheap out here and I have a taste for Spanish beer (Mahou, Estrella and San Miguel), though I didn't have any yesterday.

We have a kettle in Tenerife. I don't drink beer or coffee, but in Tenerife you usually can't drink tap water forcing you to buy bottled water :s
