I thought Toyota just pretend any car that has a problem doesn't actually exist and they can't see it standing there in front of them.

I'm guessing you own a brand new Ford.... No one likes repair work like a brand new Ford.
It's everyone's favourite...it's MOT day...Only need 1 tire repair...and 3 tire replacements...and a wingmirror replacement (not part of the MOT, but figured I'd get it done anyway)...woo
