Well, no dial tone and no power from the socket - no phone line. Ordered Virgin as they are the ones who said they could do the installation of the line quickest, though I was hoping for cable to be honest.

I look forward to going through 1 year worth of games and download/cancelling them :P

You'll need to be the bill payer or have control to order broadband I believe.

Warhunt/Freeola may know how all this works from an ISP point of view.

Access to the number is usually all it takes, as enforcing anything else is next to impossible. They would also have to live at the premises to gain any benefit, plus provide their own billing information.

Rented property is probably the most common exmaple I experience. Don't know number? Ask the landlord is the usual go to answer.

Or as you say, plug a phone in and give us a call again.

I'd have assumed that as well Chris!

Off into town today to grab a few spiral pads, I worked well with them last year, so aim to use them again...and work even harder!

Just back from the pub quiz. Few episodes of The Office before bed. Rewatching it all 8/9 seasons for like the third time...

Was the only person in the pub that knew how many bits were in a byte. Thought it was common knowledge personally.

They are supposed to auto renew, but sometimes don't. If you leave PS Plus a while before renewing, rather than renewing before it runs out, then you'll also get this issue, but for all your PS Plus games.

Go to your download list and start to download all your playstation plus games. You don't have to redownload them just start the download then quit. It should update the expiration dates.

Yeah I figured with the phone to do that but need to buy a phone for that.

I was hoping that Sony had figured out some sort of license renewal for ps+ it'll be so irritating having to download games like JC2 again just because they can't figure out a better subscription renewal system

@HF - if you mean that your PS Plus games are not working because they show an earlier date for their expiry, then you'll need to download them again most of the time.

Assuming you've renewed Playstation Plus, downloading the game again should renew the licence, it should appear in your Transactions or Download list, but you can also get them from the store where they show that you've already paid before, so you can download them free.

Of course, if you haven't renewed Playstation Plus then you won't be able to use them again until you do.
