Think you've answered your own question pb ....
"When I tried Freeola I was very happy with the service and the staff.
It was only the phone/broadband and mobile package and me having to save money plus needing all day unlimited internet that meant I had to move to O2.
Enough said ;¬)

Was the only person in the pub that knew how many bits were in a byte. Thought it was common knowledge personally.
Come on SC ... how can you assume that in all honesty? Not everyone is a geek! Ask Mrs DL, ask your Mum, ask your whatever ... common knowledge ... I think not!
:¬)
pb's post was funny - it reminded me of Python's "What did the Romans do for us" sketch!
[s]Hmmm...[/s] CAN EVERYONE PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT OTHER ISPS ON THIS FORUM!
Wow!!! don't think I've ever 'seen' Hmmm 'shouting' on here before! :0
I visualised him screaming as he beat that message out ....WITH HIS FISTS!
The 2 ISP's I mentioned are (in my experience) crap but presume that I wasn't really supposed to mention that they even existed or any make any comment regarding their general crapness on here?
BTW one these companies still owes me money, I was promised a refund for the couple of months I paid for a non-existent connection..... never received it. Wrote the money off in return for being free of the clowns.
Goes off to check pb's recommendation...

I bet you wont find the same type of forum as this with Virgin!
[s]Hmmm...[/s] Oh and shouting ''I have had enough of this, get me Richard on the phone'' doesn't seem to work with Virgin's customer service either, whenever I tried this he rarely seemed to be available.
Hopefully you won't have the same experience I had.
