Regarding FIFA 13, I saw it in town today and didn't know who any of the players on the cover were, my knowledge of football is virtually none existent. The last football game I played was Adidas Power Soccer on the PS1 (the game with the crazy 'Predator kick').

Quite fancy DOA5 but will probably pick it up second hand at some point. That game will drop like stone, beat em ups never hold their money and neither do games with used online passes. A beat em up with a used online pass (which I'm not at all interested in for this title) should be dirt cheap in no time at all.

Why is Microsoft calling up my great-uncle and asking him to give them his bank details? Damn that Bill Gates, made off with 180 pounds.

I thought this only happened in America. Don't you go falling for this scam too DL.

Manager in Gamestation has shown me the full list of games to trade in (a huge list) and as I have 2 and they're worth very little I may just get FIFA 13 anyway.

Morning all.

I will be getting FIFA 13 through my GAD. Just have the wait for it to be delivered (plus when I find the chance to go home from uni to pick it up!)

Enrolled yesterday, have a scary looking timetable but seems to be manageable to work out where and when I am meant to be places, although this coming Thursday is going to be a killer (9-6 with 2 lectures and 2 clinics...).

Had a successful buddies night last night as well, been allocated 2 first years this year, both seem really friendly. Went out for a meal with my housemates (and ex-housemates) and had vouchers for the Lloyds bar curry club (4 curries and 4 drinks for £16). That plus a free glass of champers and a shot at the buddies night venue, by entire evening came to about £6. If only all nights out were that cheap!

Morning.

School run today, not looking forward to that.

Anyone picking up FIFA 13? I'm still on 11 and as I'm saving for a Wii U I don't think I'll be getting a lot of games between now and December.

Just pick up your MAC and move over.

You obviously have been lucky enough never to have been a ******* customer then as the legendary Bangalore based operatives that I had the pleasure of dealing with (for example...Steve!) apparently could not authorise MAC codes. They informed me that I had to speak to someone in their UK team and whenever they transferred me I was put on hold for about 45 minutes before the line went dead (this happened about 4 times). I ended up threatening them with reporting to Ofcom which did eventually earn me a callback from a member of this phantom MAC issuing squad. They agreed to terminate my (non-operational) connection but never sent me a MAC code nor did they refund me the money they promised. Perhaps I have just been plain unlucky but my experience has been that if something in ISP land seems to good to be true then it probably is. I'm quite happy to pay Freeola a fiver a week and not have these kind of hassles TBH.

Bringing balance to the force:

There was an ISP called Freeola,
Considered the best the world over.
If your ISP's thick,
get away from them quick,
Just pick up your MAC and move over.

Morning.

Eyes streaming this morning. Not great for the contact lenses.

Just another one of those colds that come about when the season changes, seems half the office has one or has had one.

Interestingly, it happens in Bangalore too, even though it's still pretty hot, it's all relative, they get a slightly lower temperature (which is still hotter than our summer) and everyone gets a cold.
