The point is that it looks as if BT has no plans to roll their cable out any further from the exchange than they really need to.
You lost me there?!

Yes it will! :¬)
That's the whole point of fibre pb - it doesn't suffer from attenuation issues like copper.
The only issues with distance are - distance from nearest 'green cabinet' if using FTTC.
FTTH/P (fibre to the home/premises) doesn't even have this issue but is rather hard to get.

Someone also gave me a Dota 2 key
It's almost as though God doesn't want me to have a career

[s]Hmmm...[/s] So, one of my hard drives (HP 1TB) went the other day and I didn't have a full backup of all my media files.
Luckily, most of them are bought on iTunes so I can just download the missing ones again, but it will probably take me ages on my internet connection. At least it's unlimited, which is something.
Another reason for being depressed about the state of broadband infrastructure in this country. Even when they do kick BT up the backside to get a move on with their Fibre rollout, it won't always make a difference to those of us further out from the exchanges.
I've just started adding some Bookmarks etc.
Ideal for checking messages, browsing while relaxing on the couch!
[s]Hmmm...[/s] Seems to be one of those days. Email not working, laptop not working. It all adds up to me not working.
@Chris - you can over-analyse everything but it's not healthy. Most people just go with the holiday and damn the history or religious aspect. After all, over analyse love and all you get is a bunch of chemicals and a built in automated instinct to keep the species alive.
And christmas? Don't even get me started. Not a humbug, I love christmas, but I don't partake in any of the religious side of it, I just enjoy being with the folks. It's the only time I feel like I'm in a genuine family :-P
