Afternoon all,

Been very busy recently hence the inactivity.

Just thought I'd let you guys know the work was worth it - got myself a place at Bournemouth to study Computer Animation :-)

Afternoon all.

First time out of bed in 2 days because of a stomach bug but think it's gone now.

Morning all,

Recovered just about from my 6 hour clinics. Got marked pretty well yesterday - with one of the supervisors marking me well pass the mark required to pass my professional exams next year. Down side was that I offered to have a dilated examination to allow one of the other students to pass their competences, so currently have one massive pupil (and one tiny pupil), with the other effect of the diagnostic drug used meaning I cannot focus at near. Last time it took 3 days to wear off...

Actually about to print my dissertation off now...been a long time coming...

Morning.

World Book Day. Children all in fancy dress, which meant every parent came by car and I spent 10 minutes trying to park.

I'm sure that you'll find that all things are possible if you ask and that GoogleMail wouldn't be a problem either.

I'd possibly stay under the 40GB limit, though that may well change with FTTC.

But what slogan do ISPs have anyway? I think Freeola's should be like Ronseal's ... but Freeola don't sell varnish!

And 'Asda staff' aren't all 'pure as the driven snow' ... not in our new store anyway, always doing something else when they are there to serve!

Wasn't being totally serious with the slogan thing DL, I do reckon it's about time we had another competition or something to liven this place up a bit and I'm fresh out of scarecrow jokes!

Agree with your Asda comment, if my local store is anything to go by their slogan should actually be ''errr.... yeah.... think we sell that.......or at least we used to''.

I was being serious about the home phone thing though, quite a few ISP's seem to offer this these days. I can't be the only person in the UK who doesn't want my internet provider to be either Indian based or owned by an Australian crook? You would like to think some people in this country actually want to use and support UK based companies who pay their taxes in this country, although I appreciate I'm probably in a minority there.

Off to shoot some strangers now on my superb lag free Freeola ADSL 2+ connection :)

The other thing they're clearly missing is a slogan... Wickes products have their name on in it, Ronseal's do exactly what they say on the tin while Asda staff are always happy to help. Perhaps the next forum competition could be to invent one...?

Evenin all ...

Having just upgraded to ADSL2+ and now very happy with my connection ... (I also upgraded the existing Netgear router) ... on upgrade Freeola did offer FTTC to me at the same time!

(This all happened November last year!)

Apart from an abortive attempt with Tesco dial-up many years ago, I've never been with any other ISP. There has never been any issues that weren't solved quickly and to my satisfaction ... infact there haven't been any major ones worth talking about!

However during my years as a 'PC Assistant' I have had the 'pleasure' of dealing with numerous ISPs and none can compare with Freeola. The 'price' shouldn't put you off pb ... it can be offset, surely!

Could Freeola not look into offering Broadband/Home Phone package deals like other providers at some stage? Think that would be an incentive for people to join.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
I am delighted.
Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do. I am delighted.
