Hi pb,

Freeola have recently mentioned here on the forum that they can provide FTTC packages which is great.

As I said, it's worth knowing/saying how much bandwidth you are currently using.

I guess this data might not be available with your current third rate provider! :¬P

I knew I could rely on you to big up Freeola Hmmm... :D

I have been with Freeola before and it was only the cost that stopped me continuing this (mobile and broadband bundle deal)

I saw no mention of FTTC on the page when I last looked, though. That's going to be the big one for me as I currently only get 2-3Mbps and FTTC should hopefully be with me in June.

Still got time and current contract is just a rolling 30 days, so I can cancel any time.

Well, I'll be looking for a new ISP this year since O2 Is now going to Sky. All I need is (proper) unlimited Internet and the ability to move to Fibre when It finally arrives here.

I wonder where you can look!

Freeola can also put you on FTTC if it's available to you.

The Freeola 'Pro' package gives you 80GB peak allowance with unlimited use during evenings and weekends.

This might cost a bit more than what you are currently paying BUT if you move your websites to Freeola think of the money you will save in hosting fees to offset things :¬)

The 80GB package would give you around 4GB per (office hour)day - which is quite a lot to get through. Go to work one day means you get 8GB the next day at home etc.

How much bandwidth are you currently using?

EDIT: But now many others have recently started offering 'unlimited' packages perhaps there's more good news on the way...

If it is sorted by that time, I can happily submit, but if not, it could be some time. I'm not fussed either way.

Apologies, this was in hand with our systems team and I was waiting until we had feedback before getting back to you. I responded this morning as it was taking a while, but will let you know once the mobile format has been added.

Morning.

Looks like I'm bookending the thread again.

World Book Day tomorrow, which means children in primary schools dressing up as book characters all over the country.

Evening.

Well, I'll be looking for a new ISP this year since O2 Is now going to Sky. All I need is (proper) unlimited Internet and the ability to move to Fibre when It finally arrives here.

Chuckled at joke pete, but some of 'us' customers do frequently frequent this establishment and also pay a little into the coffers! A cursory glance or even the odd regal wave and a quick visit would suffice, don't you think ;¬)

Surely IKEA should stop doing food. Way too many foods recalled in a short period of time. Bad reputation will take an age to go away.

I chuckled at the joke, thanks for cheering the evening up :)

First there was Tesco horse burgers now there's apparently Ikea Poo Cake. I would hate to think what there are going to find in these!

and finally rubbish joke of the day:

Looks like you will be kept busy by her for some time. I'm sure it is more than worth it though - for the fitness and for Millie.

I'm pretty exhausted when it is just me to worry about. Once the next 18 months are through, life hopefully should settle down and routine follow!
