It turns on but does little else. I've run the diagnostics from the start-up, and it says it's a problem with the hard drive. The technicians in our college fixed my friends laptop the other month, so will take it to them. Hopefully it's just a matter of replacing the hard drive. As long as I get my work backed, I really couldn't care about the games, films. etc.

Sorry to hear that SC. Does the laptop turn on, but then doesn't load? If you need to replace the drive, have you the product key?

Been pretty cold here, too but, as usual, no sign of the snow.

Just been one of those days today. Had my contact lens check-up and luckily looks like my glasses don't need changing as quickly as I thought they might, either. so that should save some money for now.

Lenses look fine but got some more advice on helping with my dry eyes (blethoritus).

Another lovely Occular migraine this morning just as we were going round the shops. Got back ok, but had to spend 30 mins or so in bed after.

Just checked and believe it or not, I totally lost interest in CoD BOps MP when I achieved Prestige 1 and that was 14th March 2011! At present my interest with BF3 is going the same way, but I may just complete my present level so I finish on Bird 10 :¬)

I totally get why some don't like (or have tired of) the COD series and why some who love the likes of Battlefield etc. particularly don't care for Black Ops 2. Stuff like the non-existent futuristic weaponry, the predator like cloaking suits and Felix Baumgartner like gliding suits in the single player campaign are all a load of nonsense and some of the multiplayer game modes are bonkers. I just accept it for what it is, a piece of unrealistic interactive entertainment.

Although I've been playing it for months I still get my sorry behind handed to me on an extremely regular basis :(

I'll never like CoD, just one of those things. FPS's in general aren't my thing really. Can't argue with the sales figures though.

I'd have to agree with Pete, here. black Ops 2 in multiplayer seems to be far more accessible, less of a problem with campers and annoying players and generally more fun online, the single player isn't great, though.

I just need more time to play it!
