Just spent a few minutes looking at some of my earliest posts on the forum. Wow, have I changed over the past 4 years...
Anyone else ever look back at their past posts? It can be quite interesting to see how your writing style changes, as well as which users were around!
Yeah, from time to time when I feel nostalgic. Mainly the stories that I posted a link to a while ago on this forum.

Until you posted this, never. Just found some old posts of mine and they are crap.

Ah I remember those days!
Wish we had some sun here!
Haha ... with that I can agree!
Maybe we'll just have to wait for the upcoming 'Think Tank' of 20 weather experts to decide why summers aren't as they were when I was a kid! Seems it has something to do with Arctic ice or lack of it! And why not?
Yearly our weather changes due to changes elsewhere ... it's the way of world climate and due to our 'maritime and insular' position we are always going to be heavily influenced by sea and current changes as well has 'continental' influences due to our close proximity to a large land mass. At present we are sited within the temperate zone but there is also a northern temperate and a southern temperate sub-zone. It's only natural that we could now be moving slowly but rather suddenly into the northern temperate sub-zone!
It is only people's conceptions of a 'British summer that I remember' that help to cloud their judgement and prevents them from being aware of such climate change.
So at the end of yet another glorious evening ... there is nothing that can be done except to accept and prepare for weather change, be prepared for Autumn and Winter changes and be thankful for the odd good day or three of weather.
Living by an airport, I am constantly reminded of flights inbound and outbound ... and at this time of the year its constant! Way to go ... just leave for two weeks and come back refreshed and happy but don't expect the same conditions here when you land!
Me...I've just bought snow-chains, a snow plough, a flood defence system and extra thermal insulation.
Happy weather watching :¬D

Well it was supposed to be a nice day here today so I was planning on getting a few odd jobs in the garden done but every 5 minutes or so it rains big drops for about 1 minute and then stops.
So far I've been out 3 times and had to come back in again so I think I'll leave it until it brightens up or wait until another day!
