I have just popped the Castaway thread from 2006. Technically, Freeola took over the forums at the end of 2005.
According to the stats I have been registered for thirteen and a quarter years, since early 2000.

A quick check shows I have been lurking around here for just over 6 years, the site was Freeola then (I never joined SR).
Kind of glad I missed out on the SR days. Some of the characters we've come across from that time were most unpleasant.

Another quick check, reveals that I've been around for over 9 1/2 years. I joined back in the SR days about 1998/9 but only tended to use the local SR shop and read the mail-order catalogue.
