It was all fine back in the day. It was in between the SR days and the Freeola days that things got a little nasty. Forum Politics, mostly and a difference of opinion.
From experience, I think the answer is fairly obvious.

Evening all.
Managed to get a full day in the garden and get a lot done which I'm pleased about - managed to get a bit of a tan as well as it's been a scorcher all day!

I joined when the forum was very young. I remember afterwards they got people to join with the chance to win the PS2. Now after 13 years we're about to get the PS4. They ran a story of one guy in the forum, getting his PS2 on the first day and dropping it down the stairs or something.
It was a very different place back then Chris, you wouldn't have liked it. JATs were eaten alive. Everyone had their own group. The cool kids, the Sports kids, the jerks, the trolls, etc. There was one forum called the Future of Gaming, it was dead except for a WLT. This one in fact. A small group of nerds use to post in it until the very late hours. Me, Biggles, Nin, an Irish girl and a couple other people. pb was part of the cool kids group, he was all over the place flashing his gold. GP was in Sports, Alfonse was still in primary school and Garin use to be funny.
DL, I'm so sorry to hear about your wife. I hope you are both doing well and supporting each other. 12 months already, huh? Aww such a cute little girl. I wonder what she will be like at 3 years.
edit. Oh I totally forgot about warnings. Troublemakers use to get a little yellow card under their name. Does this still exist? Can I get one?
