Morning all.

When I woke up at 4am it was absolutely hammering it down so I thought it'd be a day in for me. Got up at 8am and blue skies and sunshine so hopefully I can get a bit more of the gardening done before Royal Ascot comes on this afternoon.

Am I glad that today's nearly over ... been up since 5.30 this morning ... it's been a rite long day, so glad they get shorter from tomorrow

Turned out really nice here now, just been in the back garden in the sun lounger an its still nice and warm.

I think you must have sent the weather up here as we now have blue skies and sunshine and the humidity seems to have been burnt away so it's a lot more pleasant now.

Lovely afternoon ... blue skies with a few white clouds, gently breeze and no humidity! Lawn was cut yesterday, so granddaughter can play on the grass while I contemplate the world from a deckchair :¬)


(and don't forget it's the longest day today!)

Wow it's so humid here my clothes are sticking to me - I hope it rains soon to cool us down a bit!

Dull but dry here but seems to be very humid as it was all night.
