I looked into this when I got them. It's their automated phone systems that are supposed to recognise whether its an answer phone that picks up the call or a human. If its an answer phone then it puts the phone down. Only it doesn't seem to work in recognising someone actually picking up the phone.
Mind you, my answerphone message sounds like I'm picking up the phone anyway (deliberately).

Noticed a sudden increase in adverts containing terrible CGI and incredibly annoying music. PlentyMoreFish and IWannaBuyYourHouse are the main culprits, and I almost destroy my television every time they come on.

A dull and blustery but dry day so far! Mrs DL took herself off to Sheffield earlier this morning and has reported no weather problems between there and here and arrived safely! Just hope her dad remembers who she is, as he was very uncertain last week!

Morning all.
Dull and dreary day here, it's been raining all night and still hammering it down with no signs of stopping.
Still, got most of the garden done now so I've just watched the first session of the snooker final from China and there's the Le Man 24 hour race as well as England in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy (weather permitting) plus the final rounds of the golf from Germany and Texas as well as 2 horse racing meetings so I've got plenty to keep me occupied!

Well in the past half hour it's gone from blue skies and sunny to big black storm clouds all over the sky.
