Haha ... have you visited an IKEA? Their 'walk the yellow brick road' has been in all stores since their conception in the UK, by the way ;¬)

And yes, strangely enough, the alarm went off in the IKEA store yesterday! Looking around and watching others reactions, I turned to Mrs DL and said ... "Are we supposed to run?" We carried on 'browsing' as Mrs DL does, I just 'watch' things ;¬)

Footnote: We went for a storage box and ended up with slightly more and Mrs DL nearly forgot the storage box! I'm thinking of opening an IKEA spares/unwanted purchases department at the moment!

Afternoon.

Just had to have another £150 work done on the car, buttons on the steering wheel weren't working. That's in additional to the air conditioning service and a puncture they found.

Morning all.

Lovely and sunny here and nice and warm, hopefully get the garden finished today if it stays this way.

IKEA's about 3 miles from where I live, it's laid out so that you're supposed to go around the entire store if you want to get out so you'll look at everything and hopefully make some impulse buys, but what I do is duck and dive through all the displays to take a few short cuts![/i]

I'd love to see the fire alarm go off in IKEA, especially if you'd just walked in.

Evening all ... nice evening and no rain all day! In fact, due to the redundancy of Mrs DL, we even visited IKEA today - quite near you Smedders! What a pleasure to build 'flatpacks' again, forgotten just how exciting it was and still no rain just nice and dry! Look forward to tomorrow and granddaughter :¬)

Turned out nice again here now, might try and get a bit more gardening done after lunch if it stays this way.

Morning.

Still dry here, supposed to be dry all day, but I'll wait and see.

Late bus today after not feeling so good this morning. Feel a little better now, though. Got my new phone sorted, delivered tomorrow hopefully. Mainly got it for the unlimited mobile internet with tethering than for the new phone, but that's nice as well.
