When I was at uni it was about £3-4 grand per year.
Fortunately I only needed to take mine in the first year (when I needed a PC) and in the last year when I finally moved away from home.
I've never worried about paying it off though, just let them keep taking the money out of my wages, they only take about £15 a month.

LOL, maybe but I'll pay you £30 amazon vouchers if you tidy the office in just your panties :D
I think it said there were a lot of student girls and even two guys lol who did it. I guess they're doing it to pay their student loans. Student loans can't be that much can they? Maybe £2-3,000 surely? I wouldnt know, never went to college or university. I went from 6th form to teaching at university though. Only for a few weeks.

Thankfully not, I've visitied our Bradford office a number of times and whilst it's fun to visit a state of the art town centre office, which is actually built in an old multi-storey car-park, I wouldn't want to move that far away from my roots permananently.

No-one is too sure at the moment, everyone was put on a 90-day 'consultation period', during which management will draw up road-maps for handing everything over, so her last day isn't actually finalised yet. The redundancy package isn't great, 1 weeks pay for every year she's been with the company works out at less than two months wages. She would also lose that if they offer her another job within the company which THEY deem suitable (bound to be reservations as Lucy did that for years, but outgrew the role when it ceased to be challenging, so you can understand why she doesn't want to go back to that).
Everything is up in the air at the moment!
Hmm okay!
I dont think i would have got away with doing my job topless :P

LOL I can imagine, did you have any bad or funny experiences while working there? :D
I worked in a hotel briefly and Safeways but we're talking almost a decade ago :)

Ah I see so you won't have to go up to Bradford then. Well I can see why they did this but of course it's terrible news for the few hundred was it, workers who have lost their jobs. When will she stop working and would the redundancy package help a little? I guess she would then have to go on job seekers allowance and try and get something as soon as possible. Which means lots of contacting, writing, interviews, commuting etc. I don't think she's looking forward to any of that.
