I liked Blood Dragon so much I've just got it in the Steam weekly sale from last week to play it through again (previously finished on PS3).
Also, if you liked Blood Dragon I can recommend Ubisoft's other downloadable title, Call of Juarez Gunslinger, which is as equally over the top. Imagine the sort of cowboy game you would make as a kid, add more blood, violence and swearing and a corny plot and you have Gunslinger.
Cod lost the plot a few versions ago and the same seems to be happening with BF4! But I'm loving playing FarCry3:Blood Dragon :¬D
Agree about Far Cry Blood Dragon DL, it's a blast which I admit did surprise me as I really didn't care for the bloated Far Cry 3. It was technically a well put together title but there was just too much faffing about in it for my liking. For my sins though I really did enjoy the previous COD, it was my probably my favourite of the series. Like Blood Dragon it was fast, furious, ridiculously OTT and the result = fun. Also thought both of those games were better for being played on fairly small maps (referring to multiplayer on BO 2 and obviously campaign on Blood Dragon), games which have playing areas the size of small continents are rarely much fun IMO.
Thanks guys and thank you Freeola. Bit of a shock TBH, didn't think rant/whinging posts were eligible?!! I've now finished the utterly average single player campaign and sold the game, I'm done with it.

Yep, well done Pete. Good to see a chat post winning, too.
Wondering if the game prize amount will rise with the new cost of Next-gen games?
@pete ... congratulations on your GAD win.

Morning. Car in for MOT today, hope it passes!
Last night for a matter of interest, I put on the old "Demo 1" CD that came with the original PlayStation, as a warm up for the PS4 coming out. I was amazed that I could actually remember the music and odd seashell designs. Come to think of it, Demo 1 is the only place I've ever seen/played "Kula World"!
Anyway, time for me to give the car a quick vacuum I think, then in to the garage for 10.30!
My favourite demo is the first demo disc that came with the first batch of Playstations, the one with the Dinosaur and Manta Ray on. At the time, I must have watched that Manta Ray one over and over because it was so amazing to see a console do that. Here is a video of someone playing the PS1 demo on the PS3.
Ha, that's a brilliant nostalgic video, I love it! I can always remember the first ever time I saw and heard the PS1 "loading" from the disk drive (on demo 1) As a first optical based system, I was constantly aware that there was a disc spinning inside, unlike all of the previous cart based systems.
Anyway, I'm contemplating doing some early Xmas shopping today....or maybe not...
Most of my Christmas shopping involves a mouse pointer, with the rest usually being done as part of the weekly supermarket shop.
I've replied to your other post in the web forum :¬)

I have been most impressed with how simple it has been in the past so now feel frustrated.
