Ive got everything done and dusted. Had to keep my mind focused on somethig or id go crazy. So much drama and heartache this year. Trying to get In the xmas spirit. Not having any luck at all.
Kids are all excited tho and thats what counts :-)

Is that the Christmas Angel?
Managed to sort out baths for everyone last night, even the dog! Final task I'm not looking forward to is cleaning the guinea pig cage, but has to be done.
Tree is up, some decorations out. Presents to wrap tonight and then I can go to bed. I don't know how single parents manage it all.

We might just get the Christmas tree up today. I first need to brave the weather to go round to the garage and find it. We did a bit of clearing up yesterday evening before the kids sat down to watch TV before bed and got the nativity scene out (it's an advent calendar type one where the ceramic figures are in little numbered boxes).
Just one trip out today to the shops for last minute essentials and that's it today. Tomorrow there's an advent service at church that the kids want to go to and Christmas Day it's off to my parents for dinner. Trying to keep things simple over Christmas. The hardest part will be finding time in the evening to wrap presents.

Apparently, Game stores have had quite a few delivered in the last few days, too. So I expect other online stores will also have some too. In fact, Amazon has the Xbox One with FIFA delivered for 27th.
