[i]Morning.
So here we are, the last day of 2013. It's certainly come around quickly. There have been highs and lows but 2013 is not a year I think I'll remember fondly.
its not a year im goi g to remember fondly either pb. Was going pretty crap anyways then end of september I lost my sister suddenly she suffered with a subarchnoid hemorrhage. Now im waiting on a MRI scan. Docs seem to think its best im checked since dad and sis had the same thing and passed away. Myuaunt also suffered the same but luckily survived it. So I have all that to look forward too. :-/

I really hope you have a better year next year and I'm sorry to hear about your sister.

It was Christmas Day when he died. I think it will sink in more when my wife is home and we tell the kids that he's gone, though I think my eldest has already worked it out.
My wife lost her mother when she was young, so this will hit her hard, but she seems to be coping so far. Again, I think it will be harder for her later on when she is home.
3rd year in a row we've lost someone at Christmas, but this is the closest family member, too.
Just put a white wash on. Embarrassingly had to phone my wife to ask where the powder was for the washing, but then it was in a large unmarked box, so that's my excuse! Lucky I have Facetime, which works really well between the iPhones/iPad and has meant the kids can still see their mum.
Looks like possibly one more week of looking after the kids as everything gets sorted out. The funeral was yesterday and now they need to sort out the legal stuff. Being the holidays, though, things are slow going.
I just hope everything is sorted before next Monday as school will be fun.
