Only just sat down after a busy day at home trying to get washing done, get pets and kids sorted and trying to tidy up as much as possible. My wife is finally home tomorrow and I may just collapse after that. I'm really not ready to go to work on Monday.

granddaughter was her usual self ... an absolute dream and such a character now!
Heavy rain and extremely strong winds hitting us now ... the weekend doesn't look any better up here :¬(

... had a phone call from my dad's partner and it seems that he may have taken a turn for the worse since I saw him on New Year's Eve, just trying to get in touch again now. He's 90 in March.
Such is life ... always makes me think about 'swings and roundabouts' but then again, it's going to happen to all of us :¬)
