Sorry to hear the laptop news pb. Granddaughter at nursery today so had an extra hour in bed :¬)
This maybe the wrong thread, but who cares ... Anyone heard of 'Big Data'? .... No, well read this Big Data revealed ... seems to be yet another total rubbish phrase emanating from the good ole' US of A
Work laptop stopped working with docking stations the other day so got the motherboard replaced. Today I turn it on to find the screen and trackpad don't work. Luckily I use a mouse and can plug in an external monitor at home, but it means another call needs to be logged with the engineers. Not great.
Just about to have some lunch. Looks like the Dairylea needs to be eaten as it's open. That's what you get for buying tubs by mistake instead of cheese triangles...
So less fences, then, more obstacles.
Hope you find time to unwind DL.
And you pb!
I know it sounds bad but it does get to you trying to field 3 families
Hope you find time to unwind DL.
Where is everyone?
Has DL had one too many fences to put up?
Is Hmmm... still pondering?
Has Highflyer recovered from 'bill shock'?
I'm back now ... so don't fret, ever watchful over the Forums. Mother-in-law had to have a yearly osteoporosis session at the hospital and it was today. Today I have Millie, but my father-in-law isn't playing with a full deck so he can't be left on his own! Me, Millie and Mrs DL have to travel to Sheffield, Mrs DL covers her dad and Millie and I take mother-in-law, for the 3rd visit, to hospital. Usually an hour ... this visit was an hour and a half as she had to have a scan. Then I had to complete a 14 page form on her behalf about her and her problem...which they already knew! It included questions such as:
" When did you have your last period?"
She's 86 ... should I be doing this?
Hospital was sorted and we returned home. Millie was really happy to see me again. The fun didn't stop ... I had to fill in a 44 page form for an Attendance/Carers Allowance on behalf of my mother-in-law for my father-in-law. Life just gets better ... and the M1 was in it's usual disruptive state!
With two sets of family arrangements to deal with and my own aswell ... just think I might give up ... it's not too much to ask is it?

Well that was another quick weekend, wasn't it? Another week of work ahead and World Book Day on Thursday to contend with.
Feeling even more drained than usual, really need to get this sorted.
As for today, it's business as usual; kids lessons and shopping.
