This maybe the wrong thread, but who cares ... Anyone heard of 'Big Data'? .... No, well read this Big Data revealed ... seems to be yet another total rubbish phrase emanating from the good ole' US of A
Yeah...
I had a "Big Dinner" last night. There was tons of it (volume), it was delivered pretty quickly (velocity), I had Kebab, salad and chips, chilli sauce (variety), my missus ordered mint sauce for hers and they messed that up (veracity), but over all it weren't bad value...
Not sure it changed the world, but I enjoyed it...
And what an absolute genius misuse of the word "veracity"...
Google Play's birthday deals seem pretty good. Anyone with an Android device should head over to the store and get the classic Tom Hanks movie Big for free, Amazing Spider-man the game for 10p and a new album every day for 99p (today's is Daft Punk but the new P!nk album is still active too)
Obviously if you don't have an Android on you you can access these via the Internet from any device or computer.
It'd bring an unusual slant to Easter
For some reason we're watching Benidorm ER at the moment.
Our work has been banding around Big Data for a while. It's just one of those phrases a lot of businesses latch on to. Another one we're being sold is AGILE, which scares me looking at the ideas behind it.
Scares me aswell pb ... just think what AGILE stands for!
By the way, the next Freeola Special challenge will be soley based on what the AGILE acronym means. This Challenge will be judged ATEOTD
