My plans to stay in failed when we found the bread was mouldy for the girls' sandwiches. So in the end I had to take them to school by car so we could get there on time and get more bread. Quick trip to Tesco on the way to school and they were very happy to have the chance to choose shop sandwiches for a change. It felt like a little treat for them.
Could have gone with school dinners, though it would have worked out more expensive, I suppose, and I didn't know what they were today.
Just dropped the car off for a 'major service'! I already know the cost, but it's the 'other' bits that they might find that always bothers me.
Pretty damp and dull start to the day. I'm staying put for as much of it as I can.
Well, it's probably safe to go back on the internet now that the 12pm deadline for April Fools jokes has past, though don't count out the US.
Went to Greggs to spend some of the credit on that app and was quite surprised by the low prices. Quality wasn't too bad, either. Had a Steak Slice and a very nice sticky Toffee and Pecan Muffin. Should be able to get a fair few more of those with this credit!
Well that was a busy day. Got £5 credit for Greggs, though, so I know where I'll be going tomorrow. But will it be breakfast or lunch there?
I don't like 'Mickey Mouse' time
Earlier start today as we're off to the opticians. Not for me, I got new glasses last week already, but the rest of the family need to go, so made a block appointment for the three of them.
Expensive things, eyes.
...and a lack of proper proof reading.
