The door is original from when the house was built (mid 80's), it's aluminum and had been (badly) painted at some point (it was flaking as well). Most of my neighbours have replaced them but I went for the budget option, wet & dry old paint off, proper primer & special 'garage door' paint. No idea how garage door paint differs from normal paint (is made by Hammerite BTW), probably just a marketing gimmick but the guy in my local paint shop reckons it's good stuff. I'm quite partial to the current 'red oxide' look it has at the moment TBH but the Mrs. is not so keen!
Hammerite the garage door, got some 'lovely colours' now according to Mrs DL, we have 'Wild Sage' at the moment ... save you an expensive hospital bill and extra paint!
Painting garage doors is rubbish but it can actually be fun. Simply buy a horrible colour primer/undercoat and when your Mrs. comes home pretend the job is finished & comment on how awesome you think it looks :)
But who then pays for the hospital treatment?
Hello all. Nice to see this place is as busy as ever!
Any benchmarks I should run?
Evening pb ... try BioShock:Infinite for starters ;¬)
Nearly there with Steam games now. Going to give this laptop a spin on a few games to see what it can do. Any benchmarks I should run?
Got Fraps installed now so I'll check the FPS at different settings.
Oh, the waiting for parcels is painful. Not going to arrive until at least 3pm now.
Still, weather looks fantastic for once and supposed to be once for the rest of the week. cel Damage HD comes out today, I've got the next part of Walking Dead Season 2 to play and I'm sure I'll try to fit in more EDF 2025, so it's not too bad, all things considered.
