Evening ...
Father-in-law situation has worsened. Phone call at 4.30 pm gave him "the next couple of days"! Not helpful, but MrsDL was, understandably, most upset and has gone to Sheffield. He's not eating or drinking and apparently body 'functions' seem to be 'shutting down'. He's on drips but the end does now seem evident ... the waiting game! Then the fun starts ... no will

Yey! Minecraft on PS4 now.

So far with the 'windows OS' calls I've:
-Pretended to be from Microsoft, working in their office
- said I sense a strange aura emanating from the caller and warn them of impending danger at their place of work
- strung them along to see how far I could get without actually being on a computer at all
I think the next will be to ask if the 'windows' need to be double glazed or if it will work on newer triple glazed ones.
Anyway...kids back to school today so I drove them in to help them get over the shock. But still remained a bit of a madhouse getting ready this morning.

Just had a lovely call/discussion from 'Windows Operating Systems department' ... I was unable to accept the young lady's offer as I don't own a PC or laptop ... seems computerised sewing machines and moblie phones don't figure in their remit! However, the young lady was most surprised to learn that mobile phones receive emails! As I was otherwise engaged at the time, shame I didn't query which "OS" she worked for!
So, head's up. get a call ... ask them which OS ;¬)

And Minecraft coming to Xbox One this week (possibly PS4/Vita at the same time), PC version has a huge update too. All good.

One more day for my kids before they go back to school on Thursday. They're actually looking forward to it. It's my eldest's final year before she goes off to big school. Time just flies!

About the same here ... granddaughter day today and we've been out and about ... the park and all its activities and then our back garden playing 'airplanes'! I'm knackered and I think she is aswell :¬)
