Sorry to hear about your father, DL, but I guess that now it's officially been diagnosed it means care could be easier to ask for?
Nearly got myself an N64 again yesterday, but I don't really need another retro console. Just have to stop myself from thinking about these things, I've got enough games to play with the current generation, the previous one and the generaton-spanning PC.
Sorry but not had a chance today to visit ... what with father-in-law and a granddaughter day, just having 5 minutes before I start to clear up.
Well done HF ... it's a good start!
My son went early this morning for his first cardiac rehab session, did ok but left the hospital with double vision!
My father, today, has been confirmed as having Alzheimer Dementia ... which he's probably had for the last two years anyway ... and apparently he should inform the DVLA ... no driving at 90!!! That's my next job!
So all in all, a busy day which began at 5.50 am and probably won't finish until much later tonight only to start again tomorrow at 5.50 am!
I'm....working. So not much else to tell.
Here's hoping everyone else are having good days!
Like a house covered in trifle, Freeola Towers seems to be deserted.
Consumer lifestyle calls. Ignore them and I'm sure the people just fill in all the details for you, resulting in calls from people suggesting you have a frozen pension or have had an accident in the last 60 days.
So annoying, but short of death threats, what else can you do?
1. There is a registered url ... but no site
2. Ignore the call and you'll find that the phone will ring far longer than an 'ordinary' call! Then use 1471. If it was a genuine call, you can call them or I'm sure they'll call you back. Long winded I know, but it works here.
3. I'm sure you've done this as much as I have ... you are not the house holder or a member of the family!
I've been many things ... the gardener, decorator, plumber and butler to name but a few.
My name is whatever springs to mind ... recently I was Jonathan Woodgate and Bugs Bunny!
If they need to contact the householder, I always give them a number ... which is one similar to the one they ring on i.e 0019528457366.
They're a pain but have fun ;¬)
