Evening all ...
Early start today as it's granddaughter day ... how quickly do they come around ;¬) It's also my birthday ... but in the light of recent circumstances ... everyone forgot!
Mrs DL was crying this morning at 7.30am ... why? She'd not got me a birthday present! Oh dear and the day just got worse.
Mrs DL's dad's funeral is tomorrow and I'm just trying to get things sorted here before my sons and I go up there ...

Back is still hurting. Someone told me it's probably because I've been limping due to my foot as this will put pressure on my back.

Why thank you DL. I'm hoping the big beaming smile brings joy to all. I've put it as my avatar in a system at work and I was asked to replace it with a real picture... but that would have the opposite effect so I've declined the request, Garfield lives for now.

On the subject of flu jabs... got mine at lunchtime. They must be cutting back, no information sheet this time round.

Well, got pretty wet getting in to work, the first day back on the bus for 3 weeks due to my foot. Still hobbling and still painful, but I needed to come in as they're giving us free flu jabs and I had meetings that were easier face to face.
