Afternoon, after another trip to audiology I am now sporting a 1.5 hearing aid setup. It's going to take a bit of getting used to, my voice doesn't sound right at the moment. And neither does the keyboard as I type this.

Gradually being upgraded?

Morning.

It seems some places had a tornado yesterday, then. It's very blowy here, but certainly not quite that bad.

Hope the funeral wasn't too painful, DL and you were able to celebrate the memory of his life as much as morning his death.

It was expected but then unexpected as the Parachute Regiment actually turned up and it just made it great!

A Standard Bearer stood by the coffin throughout and lowered the Standard at the end ... so emotional.

His beret was on the coffin throughout but we now have it here for safe keeping.

Me and the family are back home but Mrs DL has stayed with her mum and they will come here tomorrow. Emotionally it is now closed but mother-in-law has got to be supported.

Thanks pb

A supposedly authentic picture of a ghost

Seems to be a female and child, modern fashion style, both wearing black socks! Seen a lot of those today ... black socks that is ;¬)

Also, although many seem to have missed that this is clearly not entirely serious it did make me smile TBH :)

A supposedly authentic picture of a ghost has finally emerged. Strangely it's very poor quality and although reportedly taken back in August they decided to wait until a couple of weeks before Halloween before sharing it with the world... Perhaps I'm being overly cynical and there is a perfectly legitimate reason for this?

Like the latest version of Photoshop wasn't out then!

Happy Birthday DL. Sounds as bad as mine was. I just hope you can find something to take happiness in over the next few days.

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
