No word of a lie; driving home from Freeola Towers on Saturday I saw a house with their Christmas decorations up already, including large window display.
Still 5 or so weeks to go...
Next week I'll have to find my avatar from last year I expect.
Any of you with me?
Still not feeling great but I've got to venture out today for my eldest daughter's piano exam at 12. She's quite nervous and it's a big thing for her but hopefully she'll easily pass this first one.
Feeling pretty bad today. Just shivers and the feeling that I might, at some point, be sick. I'm not venturing far from the bathroom just in case.
"Mess" isn't quite the word I would have used, but yes it is. If I'm given time and hopefully that will happen now, I shall start asking questions about why he was 'dismissed and disregarded' from his GP and the County he lives in and why 'District Nurses' have been regularly sent to the wrong address!
Well I hope it goes well and you find ithe place ok. After that you might hopefully get a chance to rest again.
Set off at 9.30am today and arrived home at 3.00pm ... 88 miles driving! Should have been 'collect and deliver', except the 'old home' hadn't really communicated with the 'new home'! Muggins here, had to drive to various 'unknown locations' at the time and collect 'stuff' that should have been sorted earlier.
All is as it should be at the moment, but me and the car are 'knackered'! My father is now where he should be, but his condition had worsened and he was due to be reviewed this afternoon.
Granddaughter day tomorrow ... I'm so looking forward to seeing her after her illness last week :¬)
In Maine all the main manes are called Tasha.
And also..good evening. Had this nasty stinking cold too long already and feel terrible.
Hehe :¬)
Do hope your cold improves pb ... having it too long does get 'scary'!
Got to move my father to another 'care home' tomorrow and now we enter 'the payment zone'!
He's had a couple of 'close calls' this week so finally, those around me, have understood the course I took last Saturday!
Does it make me feel any better? No ... it was there for all to see, including his doctors, but did they see it ... no chance!
So tomorrow, I have another 1 hour journey to collect him and then deliver him to another 'home'. Where it is I've only seen on Google Maps ... but transport isn't funded!
So it's me or they send him in a taxi! It sounds too 'medical' for me.
I've had 3 weeks of constant daily journeys of varying distances to places I've never visited. Yesterday was the first day off for me and my poor car.
Still ... tomorrow is another day
