Sorry to hear that DL. Families, eh? Hope your son can find a new job. I'm guessing you weren't that close to your dad's partner's family, then?
I've only known them all for 55 years, was in the same school and the same class, doing the same subjects as her oldest son for 11 years! Not that long really ;¬) Besides, whilest my dad was living with her ... the last 6 years ... I used to see her daily.
That's just very odd, then.

Morning all. Glad you enjoyed the links! The weather here seems pretty boring now!
Buckfast Abbey? Isn't that where they brew Buckfast Tonic Wine (or something along those lines?)
Sorry to hear of your loss and of your son losing his job. I hope you are ok - pretty tough to have in quick succession. With respect to the job, I'm sure he'll find something better. Just horrible in the meantime.
Day off today... braving the gym now and then hope to reward myself by watching my new 50" TV. Not likely to move from it all day ;)
Yep, the monks there brew the famous Tonic Wine. Plenty of it for sale there, too. The kids are doing a summer camp there at the moment which leaves us free for trying to clear the house and do stuff in the garden like getting the decking sorted. That's my summer holiday, pretty much.

Morning.
Off to Buckfast Abbey this afternoon to drop the kids off for a week.
Happy days then pb ;¬)
Just trying to get my head around ...
a) My son has lost his job last Friday
b) Just been told that my dad's partner died 10 days ago!!
The date of her funeral happens to be on the same date and at the same time as another interment I have to attend as I own the grave!
Life just gets better ... ;¬)
