Next time ... 2 weeks and that 'sale' has more 'vehicles' and most will be 'sheds'!! Why do I bother ;¬) It's certainly not for the money ...

Should do stunts with them and get someone to film it then stick them on youtube with paid ads. :)

Hope you have fun with your trucking, DL.

Lovely day for it pb! Except some of the trucks, Iveco, didn't have any 'window controls' at all ... the cabs got rather warm!!

We had a lot of Artic units and 'fixed beds' from the Co-op today, the majority were Volvo and automatic of some description...there are 5 varieties of automatics, but some were manual gear boxes ... DAF. All these vehicles were 08 plates and all had done over 1 million km. Automatics were great but those with a manual box were a nightmare! My left leg and knee hurt! Getting any forward motion was 'hit and miss' usually 99% reverse and 1% drive!

Not a problem you may think, but when you are in a line and you know that the unit behind you is only a foot behind you, you haven't got a lot of room left if you go backwards!!

Never mind, all good fun ... but knackered :¬)

Sounds like a good time.

Power supply adaptors are a big requirement, so add those to your list. Also a large space in your stomach if you're staying at somewhere that serves breakfast. I remember almost being forced to eat more by the waiter, who looked distraught that I just wanted Oatmeal and a coffee (which he kept filling up).

Adaptors were the first thing I sorted out after getting the passport. Been dragged round clothes shops this morning so that is also sorted now. Got some dollars too. And car passed the MOT so a successful day so far. Next up is tennis since the sun is out.

They will be the ones needing the phrase book although they seem to struggle at times with our accents. My wife had told me I need some new clothes as I can't go to America looking like a "scruff"!!!

Heh. You'd probably fit right in depending on where you go.

Got a couple of days off work now since the schools are on a mix term break. Got the car in for its MOT tomorrow and I had best get a few things for my trip to the US.

In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
