Haven't checked them for a while, but I think the speed issue is just the general speed of my connection anyway, rather than anything recent.

Will check the stats though.

Hi pb, I noticed your recent tweets about slow broadband - have you checked your router stats? (I appreciate I'm boring saying the same old stuff!)

If your router has had a low sync event (perhaps due to the bad weather) then you will continue to run slowly until you get your higher sync back and your IP Profile recovers!

Morning guys,

after driving home in the snow last night I was hoping to be unable to get to work today (my office is in a converted farm building which needs a 4X4 to get to in the snow) but it's just wet instead.

Thanks for the welcomes guys, I'll be sure to try and behave myself.

@Hippyman, I can sympathise with the deaf ear syndrome. I'm waiting on my appointment at the hospital for what sounds nothing like a lovely pain-free solution to my partial deafness. I've finally adjusted my balance so that I don't look plastered everytime I walk.

Makes all the difference. Now I have my 2.0L TDi Altea with heated seats, a good aircon that un-steams all the windows in seconds and it has a six speed gearbox and built in bluetooth dashboard. It's a family car I'm happy to drive!

Kids didn't get to open theirs yesterday as we had a late dinner, plus we have a nativity scene with drawers for each day that have a different character in each for them to open.

Still, you have the Freeola Advent Calender to look forward to, as long as Machie turns up and sees the topic of course!

Welcome to the forums dav, one piece of advice for you, be nice to those with green names it helps in the long run ;)

Morning all, not so cold here today but very wet and grey but I got here in my new car so 'tis all good! Having functioning heating and windscreen wipers seems like a luxury to me right now.

Anybody else forgot to open their advent calenders? I only realised this morning when I got in and saw a couple of the threads on here, oh well, 2 for me when I get home then :)

Good morning clan :)

Absolutely freezing and I think I have a cold starting. I want my bed! I've had a bit of a deaf ear recently and this morning it just popped, but instead of hearing clearly, I just got static - maybe I need an aerial haha

Welcome to the forum dav! Hope you settle in with us - we like new housemates :p

Morning all.

Can hardly open my eyes this morning.

Working from home so my youngest can get some rest while my wife takes the eldest to school. Which allowed me to just crawl out of bed to log in, then in to work later in the morning as the internet is a little too slow to do a lot at home.

It's our group Christmas party tonight as well and I've booked a grill which also does Mexican, pizza and a load of other different food, should give everyone enough choice!
