Usually console damaged discs are beyond repair in my experience.Had a couple scorn with perfect circular marks and had them repaired but the marks,although fainter were still visible and the discs still didn't read properly.You can send them back to Activision for about a tenner or so for a new replacement but with MW2 available now,it's probably not worth it.

EDIT : I was obviously replying to the first to pb's 2 posts !

Anyway, morning all.

Daughter still ill so I'm still at home. She's got to the stage where she's got her cheekiness back and is up but stil coughing a lot and sounds like she's going to be sick every time she coughs.

Or take it in to Gamestation/Game and get the scratches sorted, cost about £3 I think.

Or do like I did and buy a scratch removing Dr Disc thing. Seems to work ok.

Chris,can't you borrow a copy,install it to HDD and then use your screwed copy to launch it ?.COD 4 works perfectly using this trick.

Gutted. Was playing away on CoD 4 downstairs, all of a sudden, my dad somehow kicks the ethernet cable abit, pulling my Elite down, smack to the ground. The Xbox is fine (as far as i can tell *touch wood*) and my CoD 4 still sort of works. It's got humongous scratch marks all over it. Felt sorry for my dad though, he was like "Don't worry, i'll get you another one" and i was just like "Don't need it- Modern Warfare 2 is under the tree ;D" - Got that CoD 4 as a GAD prize aswell, so only got a couple of months out of it! :P

Still waiting to find out what's officially in the PSN update today. Have some credit left and hopefully there are new bargans today.

Another busy-ish kind of day today. Lots of scans, but lots of regular patients, so nice to chat with them.

Seems like someone stole my shirts from the household this morning - they were nowhere to be found, so had to wear a long-sleeved one instead and roll the arms up so I didn't break infection-control protocols :(. Nothing a little trip to the new Primark didn't sort out - now own 2 more short-sleeved ones, a casual american design shirt and 3 nifty T-shirts. Only cost £30 in total, result! think I may need some new shoes though...

Hoping to get AC2 today, at a very very long shot DBZ also lol, but that got ordered Tuesday so i doubt it will be here yet!
