Ahahahahahahahahahahahhaa. :D
On a more serious note.... Calm down, calm down!
;)
On an actual serious note, thats a real bummer :(
Went to a silent disco last night - very interesting. Almost have a flat full of my flatmates and I've met some of the key people in the optometry crew!
Hopefully once fully settled in, I'll be back posting as normal! Hope you are all well!

The 3DS seems to be raiding the N64 back-catalogue; Star Fox, Pilotwings, Mario Kart, Paper Mario. Dead or Alive looks very impressive.

I can understand that, but the boost you recieved from it was a tad ridiculous. A slight speed up would have been understandable.
Got to go to the dentist this afternoon. Not expecting any problems with my teeth though.
Taking eldest to school this morning though, now that's more scary. That school run is a killer.

I thought THQ's 06 & 07 MotoGP games were virtually unplayable TBH.I spent most of the time firing myself into the scenery until I just got fed up with them. But Capcoms 08 game was fantastic, they got the mix between arcade and simulation absolutely spot on IMO.They also had a kind of 50/50 mode which was half sim/half arcade and that was great. You could play it semi sensibly yet still pull off the odd powerslide, super wheelie or mega stoppie if you so felt the need. You also got achievements for mad things like wheelieing down the entire pit straight or crashing out of a race when leading when you played as Pedrosa ! (it was at a time when he did that quite a lot).Sadly they waited 2 years to screw up all of their good work with their horrible 09/10 game which was rubbish.
EDIT : To answer your original question Chris, bikes do speed up when in the slipstream of another bike.As there are no aerodynamic effects such as the turbulence seen when modern day F1 cars attempt to follow each other closely. On bikes if the guy in front punches a nice big hole in the air the rider following will generally have a noticeable speed advantage.Whether that advantage is as anything like as great as it was in that awful MotoGP 09/10 game though is debatable. But lets be honest that wasn't the only thing that let that game down. The handling of the bikes was dreadful and that was unforgivable as Capcom got that spot on in their previous game :(
