It's cold, dark and ininviting outside. Must be time for work!
On the bus again.
I'm kinda guessing next years derby matches will be fun!
Almost as bad as Bristol City this year! Imagine my dismay Saturday when I first checked the score and saw City 2-0 up at Cardiff. Luckily Cardiff got their act together and won 3-2. And a good win for Rovers as well!
I'm sure things will go right for Liverpool eventually*
Gah...an optics lab and dispensing lecture today. However, a mini group meeting this afternoon should do nicely. Especially as I kinda have a thing for one of them! When we had clinic the other day and she looked into my eyes (quite literally) and came nose to nose...sounds more romantic than clinical - perhaps it could be :p
*comment made to cheer up Chris...if not true, HM removes all liability from himself. Terms and conditions apply
...what's Middlesbrough's excuse for the relegation form this season? :P
And I'd like to know your definition of a true football fan. Is a true football fan the fat guy who sits in the stand stuffing a pie in his face shouting "move them legs Gerrard!". Or maybe a true football fan just happens to be someone who sticks by his club and their decisions, despite having a different opinion to them.
Don't judge what you don't understand please.
A whole bunch of nonsense in which he suggests keeping Lucas over Torres.
There is no way you are a football fan, let alone a Liverpool fan. I like Lucas, but just think about what you are suggesting for one minute?
Well what's even funnier is talk of a new stadium! How on earth that is a top priority I do not know! We needed a new stadium 5 years ago off the back of our European success, it's way too late now. It's the worst start to the season we've had in decades.
That'll mean that Stanely Park is off then....remember looking at the architect's projected plans a few years ago...looked good.
The Saboteur is a great game, much to my surprise after reading certain reviews of the game (Eurogamer, I'm looking at you!). Funny leading man and some great action set pieces. May not have a lot of brains but this just means it plays like a World War II action movie with more boobies and less angst.
Comprehensive list of players who need to be sold:
Konchesky
Poulsen
Aquilani
Jovanovic
Kyrgiakos
Torres - He's more of a name than a useful player. We get excited by the name Torres, but for the amount he puts into the team compared to the ludicrous offers we'd recieve, I'd rather replace him with 2 workhorse strikers who can do more than just hang about with the opposition defenders.
Many would say Lucas, but I'd keep him as a backup player. Loads of people forget how young Lucas is. He'll be a player we'll sell, and he'll be fantastic in the future by my reckoning. The amount of abuse he gets, we're lucky he manages to control the ball at all.
Of course, Hodgson hasn't got the capacity to attempt any of this. He's concentrating on not getting us relegated, and seemingly spending our small transfer budget on ex-Fulham players. As I've always said, if Fulham hadn't reached the Europa League Final, Hodgson wouldn't have even been a candidate for the job.
