I know it's funny but seriously, what a stupid thing to say.
Here's a summation of my life right now.
Please can you let me know why you did not attend today's seminar.
Many thanks,
Victoria Smith

Hi Victoria.
I ate an entire baguette, and was in no fit state afterwards to come to
the lecture.
I'll definitely see you this Friday though.

Thank you Alex,
I think this is the most inappropriate explanation of absence I've ever
received.
I look forward to finally meeting you on Friday.

She wants me.
Don't judge what you don't understand please.
What I don't understand?
I don't understand how Alex Ferguson has a knighthood, when neither Bob Paisley nor Brian Clough were deemed worthy.
I don't understand how anybody who saw Diego Maradona kick a ball can say that Pele was the world's best player.
I don't understand how my abiding memory of 1998 is not of my Grandad's funeral, but is instead of the jubilation I felt when Owen picked up the ball on the halfway line and promptly went and slammed it into the back of the Argentine net. I also don't understand why David Beckham had to act like such a baby.
I don't understand why the sport refuses to embrace the opportunities presented by modern technology.
I don't understand how Roberto Carlos has scored some of the goals he has scored.
I don't understand why so many had to die, including several of my friends, at Hillsborough.
I don't understand why people think that Thierry Henry should have been honest about the handball, when there is a man on the pitch and two more on the sidelines purely because footballers have NEVER been honest.
I don't understand how Roy Evans team managed to finish 4th in a one horse race, or why he seemingly cose to blame John Barnes instead of the actual culprit David James.
I don't understand why Ryan Babel is still allowed anywhere near the pitch in a Liverpool shirt.
I don't understand why Djimi Traore played more games for us than Jari Litmanen.
I don't understand how any Liverpool fan would even consider the thought of letting Torres go for the money.
And I don't understand how you are so absolutely out of touch with reality.
I watch the beautiful game, and want to see it played beautifully. There are times when I see things that give me goose pimples. There are times when I see things that make me furious. I have been an away fan almost as many times as I have been a home fan. I have stood in amongst the home fans as an away fan, and remained quiet when we scored. I was an away fan at Plough Lane, where we outnumbered the home fans 3 to 1.
I have been to International games, and I have been to non-league games. I have been to watch teams where I knew none of the players names. I have been to watch teams where I couldn't even pronounce the players names! I have watched kids playing, ran the line for them, and even coached them.
Do not presume to think you know a single thing about me, Chris. Football has given to me, and it has taken away from me. Through it all, I have stood by my team, and always will do. I'm not the one complaining week in and out. Nor am I calling for the manager to be sacked.
How's your fantasy team doing, by the way? ;)
We got our dog a couple of weeks ago, hes settled in brilliantly and he behaves like we've had him since he was a pup. Picture He's a cross between a lab, german shepherd and a cattle dog. He was found abandoned a few weeks before we got him, honestly have no idea how someone could do that.
I should be posting more now the laptops back, got some facebook stuff to catch up with just now though!
Please don't implement smiley support, ever.
Seconded
But then I'm old fashioned and like the smilies to be just made out of punctuation :p
