I don't understand why Djimi Traore played more games for us than Jari Litmanen.

I don't understand how any Liverpool fan would even consider the thought of letting Torres go for the money.

And I don't understand how you are so absolutely out of touch with reality.

I watch the beautiful game, and want to see it played beautifully. There are times when I see things that give me goose pimples. There are times when I see things that make me furious. I have been an away fan almost as many times as I have been a home fan. I have stood in amongst the home fans as an away fan, and remained quiet when we scored. I was an away fan at Plough Lane, where we outnumbered the home fans 3 to 1.

I have been to International games, and I have been to non-league games. I have been to watch teams where I knew none of the players names. I have been to watch teams where I couldn't even pronounce the players names! I have watched kids playing, ran the line for them, and even coached them.

Do not presume to think you know a single thing about me, Chris. Football has given to me, and it has taken away from me. Through it all, I have stood by my team, and always will do. I'm not the one complaining week in and out. Nor am I calling for the manager to be sacked.

How's your fantasy team doing, by the way? ;)

Haven't been around for a while either, my phone line decided to give up the goose and took ages for BT to come and sort it. Just sorted out today.....

Evening everyone, not been about in a while - laptop decided it had enough and packed in. Just got it back, glad it was still under warranty.

We got our dog a couple of weeks ago, hes settled in brilliantly and he behaves like we've had him since he was a pup. Picture He's a cross between a lab, german shepherd and a cattle dog. He was found abandoned a few weeks before we got him, honestly have no idea how someone could do that.

I should be posting more now the laptops back, got some facebook stuff to catch up with just now though!

It depends with me, sometimes i like them and other times i don't. It also depends on how many times someone uses them.

My vote's against smilies. Makes the forum look common, we've got class.

:) I can't say I'm a fan of smileys ^_^

I myself quite like the lack of proper smilies here. Depending on the context, they make the posts look a bit messy. But that's my opinion.

But then I'm old fashioned and like the smilies to be just made out of punctuation :p
