There was one thread, started by 2K staff with a breakdown of the upcoming fixes, and an apology.
Dozens of responses from "furious" gamers, with lines like "Been playing for FOUR HOURS now. Where's my patch?"
I wonder if this is truly the extent of most people's patience now...

To be fair, Android and IOS phones aren't usually that difficult to set up to do the same. My Galaxy and iPhone both sync photos and videos fine over the air automatically and I use Office for documents on my devices so everything there is on OneDrive.
I had Android phones for a long time, the sync software WAS a pain, I don't think I ever did get it to work fully (I feel your pain DL!); it was fine for backups, but not a lot else. Point is, I didn't have to do anything other than set my Windows phone up to use the same outlook account as my computers. Literally nothing else.
Essentially, I have a single log in for my devices, complete unity with data, apps, backups, photos, music, you name it. If I change my phone, all I need to do is log in with the same outlook account and that's it, all my data, my email accounts, apps, contacts, everything is ported straight to my new phone. No fiddling, no set up, just one log in address.
Anyone in our office will tell you I am a big fan of Windows 10, but it's mainly because I make use of these features. I am aware that other devices can be made to do similar, but it's the ease with which all windows devices communicate that impresses me.

No "phone software" needed on my PC. I have a Windows phone which works, links and behaves exactly like another PC on my network, so it syncs all my data across all my devices without my intervention.
I took some photos at the zoo a week or two ago, and when I got home they were all on my laptop and PC waiting for me. Lovely job!

Phone software and Sat Nav software on the PC, or should I now call them 'apps', drive me to distraction! They must both be written by a complete imbecile! Neither seem to recognize your device and then they go for the update angle! Which, if you humbly comply, usually continues the 'device not connected' cycle again.
No doubt none of you will agree ... but I find these 'apps' a complete pain...

Well I wasn't expecting the weather to be quite so...fresh today. Should have worn a thicker coat.
Hope everyone's up to facing another Monday morning! {sips coffee and hopes for the best}

I can sympathise there. Had to update a neighbour's one the other day. Nightmare. They couldn't do it themselves, mainly because (as I pointed out to them) they were trying on a Chromebook and it's a Windows app.
So much for 'compatibility' ;¬)
Lovely day here and looks like it's set for the week! Birthday week looms here ... daughter-in-law, Mrs DL and me ... so seems I'll be 'financially busy' this coming week :¬(

quick dash out this morning to get a desk for my work PC. My wife demanded her kitchen back and since we were limited for space, it's a tiny little £7 job from Gumtree. Not much wider than my keyboard but I can make it work. Beats having to go back to the office. And since it was £7 I had to buy some chocolate beforehand in case the bloke didn't have change. And there is just enough space for my Dairy Milk too... result!!!
Wet start to the day here but we have the (slimmed down) work breakfast now and a cake sale at 10.30. mmmmm. cake!
