I'm just a little concerned about how far the Britain for the British thing is going. Just waiting for the compulsory DNA tests to come in and finding out there are about 5 people in the whole country who can trace their ancestry back far enough.

Depressing, really, just how racist the tories can get by pretending to be 'doing it for the working class'

I'm 'half Southern Irish' pb. Yet I'm related to Sir Francis Drake, the High Lord Sheriff of Exeter during the 13th Century, whose remains are buried quite close to you. My connections also include Sir Francis Drake of Armada 'fame' as that part of my family were from Rochester in Kent ... so maybe you're correct about British ancestry, we're all a bit of a mismatch ;¬)

If I knew what you trying to get across then...er maybe? It says Chas was last on here about 5 hours ago, which is probably about right. Network status?

I saw 8 hours ... your view is obviously different to mine ... network status no doubt!

What I'm trying to get across is Freeola have updated and have now lost what we had! Prior to 'upgrade' we all knew about 'maintenance' etc etc but now ...

Hot cross buns for breakfast this morning. Is it me, or were they only sold at Easter in the past? Oh well, not complaining!

I can join the club of those who've never had an issue with my Nvidia cards or my AMD cards. As long as the drivers are updated and you fiddle around with settings it's all fine. If a driver doesn't work you can pretty much bet the next one will be out pretty sharpish and solve any issues.

Yup, except it was a driver that caused the worst of my NVidia related issues. One particular driver installed and blew three NVidia cards (two in SLi in one machine, one in another machine) in the space of an hour. NVidia denied all responsibility, but withdrew the driver within an hour of thousands reporting the same issue.

...And then the same thing happened to my Dad's machine not too long ago. Again, the "we're not responsible" guff, driver version withdrawn.

You kind of lose a bit of trust for the brand...

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Many thanks!!
Registered my website with Freeola Sites on Tuesday. Now have full and comprehensive Google coverage for my site. Great stuff!!
