I've had too many issues previously with NVidia cards, both hardware and software related, to be bothered with them now. AMD all the way.
Never had any issues before with 3DFX Voodoo, Nvidia or Geforce Cards!
Only problem I had was with Tomb Raider II (original) and an ATI 3D Rage II Graphics Card with an AMD K2 cpu way back when and I've never touched their 'cards' since ...
Every gamer is different, their preferences are unique ... who is right and who is wrong ... if the game works for you ... boom!

Feel the same pb ;¬)
Can we have a 'General Chat' within Freeola Support & Services, don't want to make a new thread for a mundane broadband question? ...
Why has 'MyFreeola - Broadband Daily Usage Figures' not updated since Sunday?
Morning,
Weather seems a little changable today. Got my flu jab to look forward to (free from the company, else I wouldn't bother).

I don't even miss out on the "NVidia exclusive" stuff, I just edit the ini files for my games and turn it all on. Runs perfectly well without a Geforce card.
Posted these links in the Bioshock Collection review, not sure if anyone looks on the reviews any more...
4K Bioshock!
And more...

As much as I'd like to have a good gaming PC and monitor, I do like the simplicity of consoles.
I had typed a reply to your screenshots but clearly didn't post it. I would have to say that my non-HD work monitor won't do the shots justice.

I don't either ... but a re-run of Far Cry 4 recently on Windows 10 revealed a slightly annoying problem ... the game would suddenly restart the PC!!! How clever is that! It seems that it's a problem with Geforce Experience drivers, 344 is ok but anything after has this problem. I'm on 372 and there is no way I'm going backwards for Far Cry 4! Got fed up with animals and 'missions' before ... just waiting for Shadow Warrior 2 and Battlefield 1.

Not sure my PC is an exception, more the case that I don't overclock, I have good cooling and I'm careful about the parts I choose when I do a build.
I'll have to post some screen shots of my 4k Bioshock goodness...

Your PC always does seem to be an exception and runs things it shouldn't run and does so smoothly. At least that is the impression I've been left with.
I had the odd texture loading delay but they had always displayed correctly by the time I had started battering my keyboard to write a stroppy message.

Apparently, regular crashing, freezing, graphics corruption, poor framerates, no sound, all the usual. Along with the usual whinges of "don't like mouse smoothing", "FOV not wide enough", "Not enough options for AA", blah blah...
I'm about half way through my first run, no sign of any issues myself.

It certainly seems that way. Get the game right first time and release on time or face the wrath of those with a keyboard.
What kind of bugs are we talking about? There were a couple of blips in the PS4 version but nothing that got me in a rage. I hang my head in shame at my disappointing reaction.

Had a bit of a laugh yesterday. Thought I'd check on the Steam forum with regard to the "bugs" in Bioshock Remastered (although I haven't actually seen any of them yet), just to keep myself aware of any impending updates.
There was one thread, started by 2K staff with a breakdown of the upcoming fixes, and an apology.
Dozens of responses from "furious" gamers, with lines like "Been playing for FOUR HOURS now. Where's my patch?"
I wonder if this is truly the extent of most people's patience now...
