it would have been much worse if I hadn't been wearing a hat as I cracked my head on the road.
Hard-hats and bike helmets are a fashion accessory these days?
Morning all and Happy 2011, was nearly late for my first shift of the year thanks to a bug with the iPhones alarm causing it not to go off this morning...
Had an interesting NYE at a house party, paid for it massively yesterday though, all self-inflicted though so can't really complain.
Had an eventful new year's eve... fell in the ice (for the 2nd time this winter), had a spectacular trip in my parent's house which had left me rather sore and bruised
Yep it finally got me on boxing day. Really was a nasty fall, my ankle and wrist still aren't right but it would have been much worse if I hadn't been wearing a hat as I cracked my head on the road.
Had an eventful new year's eve... fell in the ice (for the 2nd time this winter), had a spectacular trip in my parent's house which had left me rather sore and bruised and then literally 2 minutes before the bells my uncle phones to announce his wife is dying and possibly only has days to live.
New year's resolution is to stay on my feet... something I have trouble doing recently. And if I fail that then I need to start drinking more so I can blame it on that.
The New Year was good at 9am but it suddenly went 'pear-shaped' by 11am...don't you just love phone calls on New Year's Day!
Not one but two family deaths in the early hours....and now we are only just coming to terms with it and the future implications....'int life brilliant'
Anyone got any resolutions worthy of mentioning? I don't have any this year myself, or none that I can think of anyway.
Was standing in the back garden with champagne this year, watching the chinese lanterns go by, at which point my dad begins to sing "I like chinese" by Monty Python, which set me off singing it aswell.
*EDIT* Oh, and happy new year!
