Good morning all and a welcome back to jubbamhc :¬)

On the mobile phone 'front' .... Mrs DL's hated Blackberry Pearl 3G (3 months old) has now decided that it won't lock its keypad!!! Total pain! Nothing can be done on the phone to rectify this situation - most of last night spent searching for a solution, to no avail, so back to Carphone Warehouse today for an 'experts' advice :¬(

Hmm on those prices I might get one myself. My PAYG costs for the last month have have been at least twice that.

Morning,

To bed at 2am and up at 6.30am. Gah! Going to have a job staying awake in my meetings later.

@Chris - I just don't like Blackberrys, never got on with them so can't really help there.

Considering a Blackberry contract at the moment. Never had a phone on contract before, always had pay as you go.

Few questions. Blackberry Messenger isn't the same as text messaging right? And it's free to use as well, so I could essentially contact other people with Blackberrys without paying anything? Does that mean I could technically buy a Blackberry with pay as you go, and not top-up at all? As most of the people I want to talk to have a Blackberry already.

Don't know anything about contracts with phones etc. so could do with a bit of light shedding on it.

Heads Up:

An old work mate contacted me today, he'd been 'contacted' by the following and on discussion it didn't 'ring true' so after investigation......avoid them like the plague if you have any contact from:

Zebra Financial Claims,
17/19 Mumps,
Oldham OL1 3TL

Their letter 'footer' claims they are a trading name of 'Lead Source Ltd' also of Oldham.

On investigation:

The telephone number for Zebra Financial Claims (0800 048 4700) rings and then an automated response claims that extension 222 is not answering, so leave a message!

This 'company' has no relation to Zebra Finance based in Belper, Derby.

I have spoken with them (Zebra Finance) and apparently they have had a number of contacts today regarding the same company and are beginning to wonder just the same. (Just out of interest, Zebra Finance deal mainly with Season Ticket finance ... all you sports fans out there!)

Lead Source Ltd happen to be a "Film Production Service and Film Studio" in Oldham but:

Lead Source

Lead Source

Lead Source

And read the bottom of this post from "Fitfiend Fitfiend" :

Lead Source

Probably 'over the top' but my friend was quite distraught :¬(

Hello all!

Strange start to today. Woke up to find that our streets blue recycling bins have all gone walkies. Not entirely sure what's happened there, but something is being done about it tomorrow. Just finished Mirrors Edge. That might end up being my last game for a while, as I need to focus on University work again.

Take care everyone!

Keep going guys, you're making me feel younger!

Just had a nice walk to Sainsburys and got a tuna sub, sensations, cola and 3 packs of biscuits for work. Healthy day!

Unrivalled services
Freeola has to be one of, if not the best, ISP around as the services they offer seem unrivalled.
The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
