Been so busy putting the finishing touches to my training docs for Monday. i guess next week will show whether it was all worth the effort.
Either way, I fly out tomorrow, so long train journey and longer flight.
Passed my eye test with no problems. Only thing I got told was that something at the back of me eye was slightly deeper in the left eye than the right. To be honest, there were just too many fit optician ladies for me to even be listening.
Oh, and I have to to avoid Arial shopping powder like the plague now.
Off for my first ever eye test today. As far as I'm aware, my vision is excellent, but I really want glasses! :P
In other news, I've discovered I'm actually allergic to something. Got lots of blotchy rashes, and the main suspect is the washing powder which cleaned my sheets yesterday.
@spoonbeast One of your many GADs runs out today, so make sure you claim it! ;)
+Hmmm, can I get a Google+ invite?[/i]
For lots of people Google+ is now open, are you not able to sign up?
Wave, Buzz, MyFace, SpaceBook etc. it's all too much for me :¬P
[s]Hmmm...[/s] Keyboard decided to die on me last night, so had to hunt around for batteries.
House is very quiet. No guinea pigs, kids or wife around. Can't really make the most of it as I'm still frantically preparing my training documents for Monday.
A new age is about to begin.
just setting off for the airport to send the wife and kids off.
Anyone else looking forward to some rain/storms? Really humid and muggy here, not nice at all!
Going out for cake now. Take care everyone!
The 3DS sales actually rivaled the release of the DS and were better than many other electronic device sales at launch (Windows 7 phones, tablets etc). It's just Nintendo have high expectations.
Of course, some media (The Sun) span this as a follow up to their '3DS makes people sick even though we made it all up' story by suggesting Nintendo were cutting the price due to so many people feeling ill from the 3D. That's nonsense and there are no real examples of people returning their devices to the shops for this reason.
What has really 'hampered' the 3DS sales is the simple fact that their launch line up and second wave of games weren't very strong. Yes, there were the good games; Ridge Racer, Pilot Wings Resort and (later) the excellent Ocarina of Time 3D, but it's not really enough.
As for the 3D being a gimmick, it does work to enhance some games, but probably not enough. However, this isn't the real reason to get a 3DS. The much enhanced graphics (Wii level), social features with Streetpass and the better designed menu system are all much better reasons to get it, with the 3D being a bonus.
