Hold on though. If what he tells me is the truth tomorrow, then isn;t it also true that what he tells me was the truth today as well. And if that is true, then it was also true the day before that, and the day before that too. In fact, it must have been true the day before I was born. In which case, it has always been true and will always be true.
It doesn't take a great jump of reasoning from here for me to realise that this is true of any event. In which case, everything that is going to happen, was going to happen since the beginning of time. (if there was a beginning of time, something else that I'm struggling to get my head around).
Does that mean then, that everything then is predetermined. It must do surely. And this makes me very uncomfortable.
Well...that's my theory anyway. And I still say it's very strong of you to have the courage to go and see him.

What my specialist has told me may not be the truth. What is true however is that he did tell me the things that he did, which was the truth that I meant.
I guess its easier if you use the second example I posted, that of a football match result.
For example, it is true that I once broke my arm. 8 years ago,

I don't understand this sentance, could you explain please.
Anyway, good luck at the specialists.
> Um...ok, you could...run to the specialist.
Its over an hours drive away.
> Well you don't have to go right now, you could go later...after work.
Um. After work I have to see the specilist, which is the reson that I'm not calm.....
?
