WHO WILL WIN
After the popularity of the playstation there is no reason why the public wont go for playstation again but are they fed up of seeing the same old games? Do Sony have the innovations to keep them afloat? So far so good although sales haven't been stunning but the orders are now all over the world starting to pick up and their sequals are all amazing.
Nintendo are back and after the late success of the 64 it looks as if their success could continue on the Gamecube. At the moment in Japan the Gameboy Colour is number 1 ahead of PS2 so the Gameboy advanced will surly smash sales records again. But can Nintendo keep inovating? Can they keep their slightly more adult image on the Gamecube? Yet just remmember the Gamecube is the only actual game console not a multimedia console .
The X box, Microsofts new wonder machine could flop like the Philips CDI or hit the top like the playstation im betting on the latter but... Can Microsoft sell cheap? Can they make games? Are they just creating a new PC? we will have to wait!
So Who will win what do you think?
Nintendo have always advertised well in the States, it's over here that they don't, and that's what bugs me.
Also, not many 10 year olds watch Friends, so how has an N64 being on Friends made the N64 the most popular console for the under 10s?
And don't knock my name until you can tell me where I got it from. It's a part of a classic

They need to market

A few mentions on The Simpsons, and an N64

These small advertisements have Made nintendo the most popular console for the under 10's. ok they do only seem to concentrate on the younger generation but they have already started to advertise well in america have you heard the seen banjo tooie advert in america and what about the conkers bad fur day one which is shown after 10 which goes "if you whant the best f****ng game on the nintendo 60 f****ng 4 then get Conkers bad f****ng fur day." pure brilliance...
What is wrong with me saying if these apparent die hard Nintendo fans give up with Nintendo then they are not Die Hard i see my self as a die hard nintendo fan as i don't see myself giving up faith on a company that keeps inventing and keeps coming up with the goods.
Any way nintendo have got rid of the games ltd so we may see improvement on the advertisement front.
And can i get it through when i say who will win i'm trying to provoke an argument on which games console will end up top of the market. so who do you think will have the best console and what are their strengths and weaknesses. And lets be a little friendlier
Nintendo really are only just seeing Europe as a market worth speing time on... up until last year they had another company sorting out all their business over here...
The die hard fans are being forgotten, ignored, and are leaving after being fand for over 12 years against stiff competition all the way... its not that there not so die-hard... more that EVEN they are begining to give up...
Always remember, 49.9% of your friends are below average.

As long as they get the advertising right and the price of the games right then they cant fail.
I've gotta agree with Linkm Nintendo are going to screw up the NCube somehow... I bought an N64 so I could grab hold of Mario World, Maroi Kart, Golden Eye and the other Gems of the machine... But since these early releases, a couple of years ago I totally lost confidence in the box... Hopefully there new ditributors will be better... though they can hardley be worse than the last?
I'm sure PS2 will do well... look at the excellent advertising theve done so far... the limited quantities scam was a waork of genius... its worked so well, that XBox have put back their release date....
Although Sony & MS are big companys, theve thrown a lot into their new consoles, botth of them REALLY mean business, and neither can offred to lose.... its going tobe interesting to see what happens next...
