The Playstation has there sequal to there console which has sold more than any other, Nintendo are going to show everyone how to do a good handheld as well as create more of the greatest games in the world while Microsoft prepares to beat all opposition in the gaming industry...

WHO WILL WIN

After the popularity of the playstation there is no reason why the public wont go for playstation again but are they fed up of seeing the same old games? Do Sony have the innovations to keep them afloat? So far so good although sales haven't been stunning but the orders are now all over the world starting to pick up and their sequals are all amazing.

Nintendo are back and after the late success of the 64 it looks as if their success could continue on the Gamecube. At the moment in Japan the Gameboy Colour is number 1 ahead of PS2 so the Gameboy advanced will surly smash sales records again. But can Nintendo keep inovating? Can they keep their slightly more adult image on the Gamecube? Yet just remmember the Gamecube is the only actual game console not a multimedia console .

The X box, Microsofts new wonder machine could flop like the Philips CDI or hit the top like the playstation im betting on the latter but... Can Microsoft sell cheap? Can they make games? Are they just creating a new PC? we will have to wait!

So Who will win what do you think?

Are you talking about that movie, The Wizard, starring Fred Savage, about 3 kids that run away from home to travel across America so that one of them can enter the World Nintendo Championships?

That game had them playing Super Mario Bros 3 at the end.

Don't remember a boy getting sucked into a game though....

Yes, I

My reasoning for saying that was to show nintendo are now ready to advitise for themselves maybe things are looking up

The Super Mario Movie didnt do the Bros game

I didn't mean the super mario bros movie i was talking about a huge nintendo advertisement film which was about a boy getting sucked in to a game

Link... See now, I'm sure thers plenty of questions that 'Nintendo is brilliant and will do well, because I'm a die hard fan and will love them forever' would work very well as a responce... But I'm getting the feeling that just repeating it over and over again, doesnt really work well as a valid point of view? :)

link how old are u? just wandering because u is a die hard nintendo fan. i myself is buying a gamecube whatever happens. also gonna have to get gb advance as that is gonna be bad! i think its better if the gamecube does about the same as the 64. i think this because when something gets too popular it just gets boring. Nothing can remain on top forever. nintendo concentrate very hard on their main games. this is why we had a small collection of games on the 64 that no playstation game could ever touch. mario has always gone done as best platformer and zelda has proved to be the best rpg. playstion may be bigger with more games but i think nintendo will always have the better games...as the old saying goes..."its quality not quantity that counts"

i really do think nintendo will sort things out totally after they dropped THE.
N64 adverts in this country i have to say have been pritty poor. The best one has got to be the formula 1 one. that sold s--t loads. i was a bit dissapointed that i never saw a majoras' mask advert. was there one? i have to say the ocarina of time's advert was quality.
but apart from that there aint much. this year all i seen is a very poor perfect dark advert. i was really hyped for the game but i think anybody who didnt know about the game and saw that advert wouldnt really be blown away. Sulry this game was the best on the format last year.

I loved seeing nintendo on the fiorentina shirts. best thing ever seeing mario on top of the subs bench.

Conosle wars are a very big issue at the mement... and for while to come... Both Sony and Microsoft are investing a large amont of capital in their ventures... square mile investors are watching the whole thing VERY closly, and believe that the resulting outcome could very well banckrupt one or other of these multinationals... one comapany will most definitly win...
