The non-gaming part of the forum has a white background and the games part of the forum has a black background. Now we are looking for a bit of feedback on which you prefer.

Please vote once only, which is your preference, Black or White background to the forums?

Indeed! Give people a challenge when they come to read the boards, a GAD for the first person to read and reply properly to my post!

Well of course we would want to get around to all of your requests sooner or later, provided we don't fall into the trap over over-complication.

But for now, let's say I am keen to get feedback on the default colour. As in the one which is seen by people spending 1.4 seconds on the site while they decide whether to stick around or not.

Hm. It's so white in here.. :P Can't we just have a skins option that allows us to see the site as we want it to look? I dunno, but black or white just seems so.. stark. It's obvious, you're bored Tony, to post such a thread.. so how's about getting on the skin's detail to make us all smile. :) Oh, and meh lahv youss looong tym. <3

That sounds okay Hmmm, if the staffies really want the black background.

I just think there's a reason why sites like YouTube, Facebook, Digg, Twitter and a couple of others, use white and grey with black text.

Perhaps Freeola should choose the colour scheme 'they' prefer and use this as the default and then add a new option in MyFreeola to allow people to choose their preferred scheme?...

I'm not sure if I'm allowed a vote (nothing here says I'm not) but I much prefer the black, darker scheme. So much so that when I was testing the new design I was exclusively using it for every forum.

I prefer the style of the Gaming forum, but as the general idea seems that we each have a preference but don't really care...I think I agree.

I actually like having the site in two-tone
