Good on ya Grix. As much as I understand it's a difficult addicition to break, and that people do it, I personally think it's vile. The nastiest habit. Smells bad. Teeth go bad. Nails go bad.
Eugh...
Anyway, well done :D and keep it up!

More metal than me?
I continued to play through Rugby and Football matches with this problem, against the doctors advice because I wanted to beat my own body. Every time I played a sport it was serious pain, not being able to breath, going to hospital about 12 times because I had blacked out.
I didn't quit sport and I still haven't. However I do know smoking would kill me off. I also am preparing myself for an operation on my nose at the end of the year, it will help me breath in a circular state so that I can lick carpet and play the saxophone and trumpet without having to take breathes.

I don't properly smoke though...only when I'm drunk or waiting before gigs. I probably only like it because I got used to the taste when I was smoking some herbs. Legal ones, of course.
I have a strange suspicion the printer at work smokes...everytime it starts to print it's all I can smell.
I told it to quit, but instead it just stopped printing my document halfway through.
