It was a nasty habit, and I'm glad I did.

Potatoes would go green and smelly, scrap that.

Smoking is dangerous and it can kill.
Drinking alcohol is dangerous and it can kill.
Driving is dangerous and it can kill.
Etc.

Like Goatboy said: if you an adult then people should get lost and let you do what you want. My mum's an ex-smoker and she hassles virtually anyone she sees with a cigarette and it really p***es me off.

By the way: I don't smoke.

I quit smoking for a week then realised that I enjoyed it and started up again.

I don't smoke, never have and never will.
I was born with bad asthma which for the past few years has slowly got better and better. Also my grandad died from lung cancer and I promised him that I wouldn't do it to myself like he did.

I don't mind if others do it, I have mates who smoke but I dislike those who smoke directly in your face when they want too.
Also what annoys me is those who smoke all their lives then expect treatment straight away when something goes wrong.
But there is more to all that which I can't be bothered going into.

Enjoy smoking if you do it and like it. If not then enjoy life not smoking.
Well done Grix, what you going to take up next to try quit? Cross-dressing? Juggling? Musical Instrument?
